Richard L. Cooke is a partner in the Assurance Services Group, based in the Firm’s Long Island office and is a leader in its national SEC Practice and its Technology & Life Sciences Industry group. He also serves as a member of the Firm’s Internal Audit Efficiency and Employee Benefit Plans Efficiency committees.

Richard specializes in providing audit, quarterly review, and merger and acquisition services to a diverse client base that spans several industries and includes closely-held and publicly-traded entities.

With an in-depth knowledge of SEC reporting processes, Richard is often engaged by companies to assist with complex GAAP issues such as revenue recognition, debt and equity financing and derivative transactions. He provides clients with expert guidance through the compliance process, ensuring they stay compliant with SEC regulations while meeting timely financial filings. In addition, RIchard has successfully assisted clients with completing initial public offerings, reverse mergers and other business acquisitions.
