Ruben Rodriguez is a director in the Firm’s Tax & Business Services Division, based in Houston, Texas. He is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the global arena.

Ruben brings more than a dozen years of experience to his role servicing high-net-worth individuals, families and their closely held businesses on state, federal, and international tax matters. He provides proactive tax advice and manages all compliance, tax planning, and research for his clients, developing strategies and solutions to help them achieve their objectives.

Ruben’s clients rely on him to navigate inbound and outbound tax matters, including pre-immigration planning, investment in the United States and abroad, charitable planning, and other matters encountered by wealthy mobile clients.

With an extensive background in tax, Ruben is a contributor to various accounting publications and is regularly invited to speak at industry events.

Prior to joining the Marcum, Ruben served as a local co-leader of the international private client services group of a national accounting firm.

He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
