About Maria

Maria Gonzalez is a partner in Marcum’s Tax & Business Services division. She has more than a decade of experience working primarily with clients in the real estate industry, including owners and developers of residential and commercial properties and real estate brokers. She also focuses on consumer products and apparel companies.

Maria is involved in all aspects of audit, review, and compilation engagements, from the planning stage through financial reporting. She also performs agreed-upon procedures, including due diligence for possible property acquisitions; these engagements require that she read and critically evaluate the terms of leases and contracts.

In 2021, she was named a Crain’s Notable in Accounting & Consulting.
