About Kirk
Kirk Purvis is the Firm’s office managing partner in Portland, Maine. Kirk joined Marcum in 2019 via the merger of Dawson, Smith, Purvis & Bassett, P.A. (DSPB) into Marcum’s New England Region. He has over 20 years of experience providing tax compliance and planning services to a wide variety of businesses and individuals, as well as assurance services for businesses with audit, review, or compilation needs. He is also a certified fraud examiner and has assisted in several cases of employee embezzlement and other forensic accounting investigations.
