About Joseph

Mr. Joseph Zolofra is a tax partner in the firm’s Saddle Brook office. He has extensive experience delivering tax reporting, tax compliance, and tax advisory services to clients in the financial services industry, including investment funds, banks, and insurance companies.

Mr. Zolofra’s experience includes assisting clients in developing corporate tax strategies and tax reporting functions, including structuring and start-ups of new entities, providing technical proficiency with Federal Taxation of investment products, and managing consolidated and separate company US GAAP and Statutory Tax Accounting.

Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. Zolofra served in the financial services group of a Big 4 firm, a leading national accounting firm, and served in their National Tax Office and held senior tax executive leadership positions including as Global Head of Tax at a large insurance company.

Mr. Zolofra served in the United States Marine Corps under the command of MAG-11 I Marine Amphibious Air Ground Task Force.
