About Alyssa
Alyssa Simard is a partner in Marcum’s Merrimack, NH office. She has more than 17 years of experience providing assurance services concentrated in the nonprofit and social sector arena. She oversees financial audits, reviews, and compilations and ensures that quality client service is provided in a timely and efficient manner. Alyssa’s experience also includes nonprofit taxation, single audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance, and reviews of internal control systems. She provides guidance to her clients in implementing new accounting standards while navigating the complexities of the nonprofit industry.
Prior to joining Marcum, Alyssa was a principal at Melanson CPAs, which merged into Marcum in January 2023.
